LEARNING OUTCOMES

The Strategy Wheel® strategic planning system is taught in a Workshop Format where you will be involved in interactively developing your strategy as you go through the three days of the Workshop. VIGOST Limited believes that this sets their system apart from others in that the level of theory is kept to a minimum and by operating in a Workshop environment you will maximise the output and value from the three days. The system has been used with many companies who have completely changed their strategic focus as a result of completing the Strategy Wheel programme.

By completing the Strategy Wheel® programme you will have achieved the following:

  • Identify the priority market segments for your business and the customer service atributes of those segments
  • Understand the strength (or lack of) your current Strategic Plan
  • Understand the different types of Generic Strategies and how your company can align to one of these.
  • Redefine the Strategies for your business based on the priority market segments identified
  • Understand the competencies required in your organisation to meet your strategic goals
  • Learn methods to gain these strategic competencies including analysis of Acquisitions, Joint Ventures and Strategic Alliances
  • Learn the different methods to summarise your Strategic Plan into a “Strategy Map” to make it more explicit and easy to communicate to your team and key stakeholders
  • Understand how to measure your Strategic Plan so that success can be monitored to further define the Strategy into the future
  • Learn tools for the communication and operationalising of a Strategic Plan

Above all by completing the Strategy Wheel® programme you will have completed or almost completed the new strategic plan for your business and as well have looked into the future success of your business in a way that you have never done before.
